Getting around

Water taxi

If you need a water taxi (from the airport, to a spot, from a spot), Marco can book one for you. Just email him at info@eccoconcierge.com. But be aware: he will book you a luxury option. If you want to travel a little simpler, please let him know. It also never hurts to ask about prices before getting into a Venetian boat.

Vaporetto

The Venice bus. There are many of these friends on the canale grande and they are a great way to get around. Get this app to help you: CheBateo (link to AppStore) and get a ticket at a local machine.

Bites & Drinks

Venetika

One of our favorites! Ambiance is not the most romantic in Venice, but the food is truly excellent!

Here's the link.

Harry's Bar

You gotta go. Must. Here is the link.

The restaurant and bar at the Experimental

Super cool spot with a garden and excellent food. Worth the walk! Here is the link.

Vino Vero

The older sister of our Friday night spot. A great local wine bar with bites and first-grade people watching. Here is the link.

Café Florian

Get it while it's quiet! If you are an early riser, there is nothing better than getting a coffee and a morning bellini before the tourist get to Venice (yes, we are tourists too, but you know what we mean). Here is the link.

Al Vecio Marangon

A super cute, somewhat hidden gem nearby the Academia bridge. The food is lovely and the atmosphere cozy. A great spot for dinner! Here is the link.

The Lido

If you feel like a trip, go out to the Lido. We love it there! A Vaporetto takes you right there and a 15 minute walk down the main street will lead to the beach. Plus, you will past the possibly cutest bar in Venice:
